Hyundai Cars & SUVs · Denton, TX · Since 1995
Hyundai has come a long way — great value, a strong warranty, and a lineup that's everywhere in Denton. But the Theta engines and the dual-clutch have their stories, and out of warranty you want a shop that knows them. Since 1995 we've kept Elantras, Sonatas, Tucsons and Palisades running with honest diagnosis and fair prices.

Every System, One Shop
Value shouldn't stop at the purchase — keep your Hyundai's whole history in one honest place. Every card links to that service's page; the transmission specialty leads the way.
The 6- and 8-speed automatics, the 7-speed DCT (dual-clutch) and the IVT — Hyundai transmissions diagnosed and serviced in-house, with a straight answer on whether it's a service, a software update or a repair. Backed by honored warranties and free 40-mile towing on major repair.
Theta 2.0T/2.4 GDI rod knock, GDI carbon, oil consumption and the knock-sensor story — Hyundai engine work diagnosed honestly, warranty checked first.
Grinding, a soft pedal or a brake light on your Elantra or Tucson — inspected first, measured, then fixed. No upsell on a car that doesn't need it.
Blowing warm in the Texas heat? Recharge by weight, leak detection and compressor work — Accent to Palisade rear-zone systems.
A cool-running engine is a long-lived engine — radiator, water pump, thermostat and coolant service that protects the engine and transmission both.
A check-engine light on your Hyundai is a symptom, not a diagnosis. We scan, test and trace it to the real cause before any work.
Quick, done-right oil changes with a free multi-point inspection — and on a GDI engine, a chance to keep an eye on oil consumption before it's a problem.

The mid-size sedan — the Theta engine story, transmission service, and the everyday repair a daily Hyundai asks for.
The crossovers — AWD drivetrain, transmission and DCT service, brakes and cooling for family miles.

What We Keep an Eye On
Hyundai's value is real, and so is its industry-leading warranty. But two items are worth understanding, because the difference between a covered repair and a costly one often comes down to knowing to check.

Vehicles We FixGood to Know
Some 2.0T and 2.4 GDI (Theta II) engines are covered by recall or extended-warranty campaigns for rod-bearing knock and engine failure, and there's a knock-sensor detection update for many. It's worth checking your VIN with a Hyundai dealer first. If a rod knock isn't covered, we'll diagnose it honestly and lay out your options.
The 7-speed dual-clutch (DCT) on some Hyundais can feel hesitant or jerky in stop-and-go traffic — sometimes that's normal dual-clutch behavior, sometimes it's a software update or clutch/mechatronic wear. We diagnose which it is before recommending anything, rather than assuming the worst.
For genuine warranty and recall work, yes — that's free at the dealer. But routine maintenance and out-of-warranty repairs don't have to be dealer-priced. We service Hyundais to spec, and we'll tell you honestly when something belongs at the dealer instead.
Yes — full repair. Transmission and drivetrain is our specialty, but the same shop handles your Hyundai's brakes, A/C, engine, cooling, electrical, diagnostics and oil changes, Accent to Palisade. One trusted shop for the whole car.
