Rogue
Nissan's best-seller and the CVT poster child — judder, overheat and limp-mode diagnosed and rebuilt in-house, plus brakes, A/C and everyday repair.
Nissan Cars, SUVs & Trucks · Denton, TX · Since 1995
Nissan's Xtronic CVT is the transmission most shops won't touch — and the one we rebuild in-house instead of defaulting to a dealer swap. But a Nissan is more than its CVT: Frontier and Titan trucks, the QR25 timing chain, brakes and A/C all come through our bays. Since 1995 we've been the honest answer for Rogue, Altima and the rest.

Every System, One Shop
The CVT is what we're known for, but a Nissan needs a whole-vehicle shop. Every card links to that service's page; the CVT specialty leads the way.
The JATCO/Xtronic CVT diagnosed and rebuilt in-house — Rogue, Altima, Sentra, Murano — instead of a costly dealer swap. Belt-and-pulley wear, valve-body faults, overheat and limp-mode patterns, plus the conventional automatics in Frontier and Titan. See the deep dive on our dedicated Nissan CVT page.
QR25 timing-chain rattle on older Altima and Sentra, VQ V6 concerns, gaskets and belts — Nissan engine work diagnosed before parts.
Grinding, a soft pedal or a brake light on your Rogue or Altima — inspected first, measured, then fixed for how you drive.
Blowing warm in the Texas heat? Recharge by weight, leak detection and compressor work — Versa to Armada rear-zone systems.
A cool CVT is a living CVT — cooling is exactly what these transmissions need most. Radiator, water pump, thermostat and coolant service keep the temps in range.
A check-engine light on your Nissan is a symptom, not a diagnosis. We scan, test and trace it to the real cause before any work.
Quick, done-right oil changes with a free multi-point inspection — and a chance to check that all-important CVT cooling while we're under there.

The midsize truck — tougher conventional automatics, brakes, cooling and the drivetrain a working Frontier earns.
Full-size Nissan muscle — V8 automatics, towing service, heavy brakes and rear-zone A/C.
The Nissan CVT
When a Rogue or Altima CVT starts to shudder, whine or slip, most shops quote a dealer replacement and send you on your way. We do it differently — we diagnose the actual fault and rebuild the unit in-house, which is usually the far better value. Here's the honest version.

My daughter took her 2001 Isuzu Rodeo into Eagle in April 2026 due to a significant transmission slippage and was not able to drive above 35 mph. The transmission was still under warranty from the previous Eagle mgmt. Ken Henson and his team completely overhauled the entire transmission and did everything possible to restore it to perfect working condition, rebuilding/reinstalling multiple times. I was very impressed and grateful for their diligence and integrity to take care of us. I would highly recommend Ken and the current Eagle team for my transmission needs.
Great communication, kept me updated. Firm price!
Extremely quick and courteous with their service.

Yes — and it's a specialty most shops send straight to the dealer. We diagnose and rebuild the JATCO/Xtronic CVT in-house on Rogue, Altima, Sentra and Murano, instead of defaulting to a costly replacement. Our dedicated Nissan CVT page covers the judder, overheat and limp-mode patterns in depth.
The Xtronic CVT has a real reputation for shudder, overheating and whine, especially on Rogue and Altima. But 'bad' isn't the whole story — cooling and proper fluid service go a long way, and a failed one can be rebuilt rather than replaced. We'll tell you honestly where yours stands.
Yes. The Frontier and Titan use conventional automatics that are generally tougher than the CVT cars — we service and rebuild them, along with the brakes, cooling and drivetrain a truck that tows and hauls leans on.
Yes — full repair. The CVT is our headline, but the same shop handles your Nissan's brakes, A/C, engine, cooling, electrical, diagnostics and oil changes, Versa to Titan. One trusted shop for the whole vehicle.
